Quick Start
A reliable first-run path from account access to organized project assets and generated outputs.
Before You Generate
- Sign in and confirm your account has access to the closed beta workspace.
- Create or select a project from Dashboard.
- Upload a screenplay, import source documents, or draft story material in the Development pages.
- Open Settings > Tools if you need to change default generation models before running jobs.
- Check Settings > Billing or the visible credit indicators before expensive video or batch work.
Fastest Project-First Path
- Dashboard: select the project and verify source documents.
- Screenplay: import, draft, or publish the active screenplay when downstream analysis should use a stable script.
- Breakdowns: run Producer, Director, and Script Supervisor analysis.
- Prep: review Style, Cast, Locations, Props, and Character Looks.
- Shot Listing: generate or edit shots by scene.
- Storyboarding: collect references, create prompts, and generate first frames.
- Production Queue: run coordinated batches when many assets share a production pass.
- Asset Browser and Timeline: organize, review, edit, and assemble results.
Fastest Direct-Tool Path
- Select a project in Dashboard.
- Open a generator from the Generators group: Image, Video, Audio, Music, or LoRA.
- Choose a model, prompt, references, and advanced settings.
- Generate a small test before committing to a batch or high-cost setting.
- Review outputs in the generator gallery, then organize or send them from Asset Browser.
First Checks When Something Looks Blocked
| Symptom | Check |
|---|---|
| Page asks you to select a project | Return to Dashboard and choose or create a project. |
| Music or LoRA is missing | Those pages are admin-gated in the current app. |
| Shot or storyboard actions are unavailable | Complete Breakdowns and verify the current screenplay is the intended source. |
| Generation appears stuck | Check the Dashboard progress card, Production Queue, task panel, and any visible provider error. |
Short-Form Guidance
For short projects, you do not have to start with a full beat-sheet process. A clean screenplay, reliable breakdowns, and direct generator iteration are often faster.
Quick Start Control Checklist
| Step | Control To Use | What To Confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Create context | Dashboard project selector or create-project action. | The intended project name is visible before uploading or generating anything. |
| Add script material | Source Documents controls or Screenplay import/open controls. | The active screenplay is the version you want downstream pages to analyze. |
| Analyze script | Breakdowns run controls for Producer, Director, and Script Supervisor. | Each stage completes before you rely on scene, cast, location, prop, or shot data. |
| Prepare references | Style, Cast, Locations, Props, and Character Looks editors. | Important visual references are approved and attached to project assets. |
| Generate media | Generator panels or Production Queue bulk actions. | Model, prompt, references, cost, and project context are correct. |
| Review outputs | Gallery, Asset Browser preview, task panel, or review submission controls. | Completed results are usable and stored as project assets. |
| Assemble | Timeline, Narration Timeline, and Mixer controls. | Clips, narration, music, and effects are aligned before export or review. |
