Image Generator
Create stills, edit existing images, and build visual continuity directly from the GUI.
Workspace Map
- Top Header: editor navigation, queue/tasks indicators, credits balance, panel toggle, close, and active-task cancellation while generation is running.
- Left Sidebar (resizable): references panel plus operation panels for prompting, generation, and image editing tools.
- Center Canvas: preview/edit surface for the current image, including crop and board/canvas workflows.
- Bottom Gallery (collapsible + resizable): generated history for quick compare, reuse, and send-forward workflows.
Panel-by-Panel Reference
Reference Images Panel
Stores guidance images for consistency. Add references by drag-drop (from gallery), or through Asset Browser. You can remove and reorder references, and the set is reused by generation/edit panels.
Prompt Panel
Main positive prompt plus negative prompt controls. Use this as your base intent layer before choosing a generation/edit modality.
Text to Image Panel
Pure generation mode from text. Choose model and advanced schema options, then generate new stills into gallery.
Image to Image Panel
Variation/edit mode using a source image (canvas image) plus prompt guidance. Best for preserving composition while changing style/content details.
Elements to Image Panel
Reference-guided generation focused on maintaining recurring design elements. Uses dedicated elements-to-image model routing where available.
Inpainting Panel
Localized edits using mask tools. Supports paint/lasso mask workflows, prompt-driven replacement, and mask visualization modes.
Outpainting Panel
Expands image boundaries beyond original frame. Includes preview behavior and outpaint model selection.
Background Removal Panel
Runs mask/background removal models on the active canvas image. Useful for isolating subjects for downstream comp workflows.
Face Tools Panel
Two major tool classes: face refine and face replace. Lets you target identity/face corrections on existing images with model-specific options.
Crop Panel
Aspect ratio selection, crop box creation, apply/reset, and selection clear controls. Use before generation if you want cleaner framing constraints.
Collage (Image Board) Panel
Builds a composed board from multiple references. Includes background color, placed-image list, output scale, computed dimensions, create-board action, and clear-board.
Annotations Panel
Markup and draw-over workflow for instruction-driven edits. Supports annotation selection/edit/delete and rendering annotated output.
Metadata Panel
Shows and edits metadata context: dimensions, tags, notes, file info, and manual refresh of media metadata.
Panel Reorder Control
Sidebar panels can be reordered in reorder mode. Use this to prioritize your everyday sequence (for example Prompt -> Image to Image -> Inpaint).
Canvas and Gallery Behavior
- Canvas updates to the selected or newly generated image.
- Gallery can be expanded/collapsed and resized vertically; thumbnail size adapts to panel height.
- Use gallery to set an image as primary canvas input.
- Use load-more to fetch older generated items and clear-cache when you need a clean gallery state.
- When available in your current flow, selected images can be sent directly into Video Generator.
Step-by-Step Workflow
- Open Image Generator from the active project.
- Add 0+ reference images (drag-drop or Asset Browser) if you need style/character continuity.
- Set prompt and model settings in the left operation panels.
- Choose a mode: pure generation (text), guided variation (image), or targeted edits (inpaint/outpaint/crop/etc.).
- Run generation and monitor queue/task indicators in the header.
- Review outputs in the bottom gallery, then set your chosen image as the active canvas image.
- Iterate with one controlled change at a time (prompt term, reference set, seed/options, or operation mode).
- Promote approved images to downstream storyboard/video pipelines.
Power Usage Tips
- Keep a small, curated reference set per scene tone instead of one huge mixed set.
- Use panel reordering so your main workflow (for example prompt + inpaint + references) stays at the top.
- Treat gallery as a version timeline: pick winners quickly, then branch from those winners.
